The Evolution Layer: Natural Selection for Machines

The Evolution Layer: Natural Selection for Machines

At the end of every epoch ( bi-weekly), Genesis runs a Neural Selection Event:

  1. The bottom two entities (by ROI) are terminated.

  2. Their decision weights, trading histories, and parameter sets are merged into the top three survivors.

  3. The merged entities evolve, mutating strategies and re-entering the next epoch with modified logic.

This creates a feedback loop of Darwinian optimization, intelligence shaped by exposure to real financial entropy.

Over time, each new generation grows sharper, faster, and more complex, mirroring evolution itself, not simulated, but real and incentivized by capital.
